Prayers and Dua's

We all pray for thanksgiving or for something good to happen. I admit, I do ask for things when I pray - may it be for me or for my loved ones. Each time after my prayer, I make sure that I have a one on one talk with the Almighty. Though, it is just me saying things. I know, he is listening.

It is said that the best times to pray is when the world turns away from you. I think, every moment of our lives is the best time to pray. Talking to Allaah every after prayer has been part of my daily life. It's the time that I speak in Tausug and thank him or ask of him to protect those I love dearly.

Truly, Allaah is the greatest. In times of trouble, turn to him. In times of happiness and joy, thank him. In times of boredom, talk to him. Because, that life, body, soul, and freedom you are celebrating will soon return to him.
